About Us

We are a home provider agency, providing a number of services for individuals with DD. We understand that no individual is

the same and work diligently to provide services based solely on the need of the client. We feel that each home should provide not

only biological needs but warmth that will allow the individual to feel that even though they are not among family they are still with

friends who care. We also ensure that the need of comfort is met as well, small things such as knowing the clients favorite meal,

favorite activity, and television show will be implemented to satisfy and embody not just the individual but the person. We strongly

urge cleanliness and that all clients (who are able to do so) participate in daily chores, this will allow for the client to understand that a

clean home provides for comfort and safety. Better Lifestyles also will provide a safe and secure home for each individual; our goal is

to ensure that each client feels protected, safe, and secure. Each client will also be respected by staff as well as peers, Better Lifestyles

also encourages client to engage themselves in the community, and to be valued by others. Weekly activities will also be

implemented; participating in activities will give the client a sense of contribution, giving the individual a sense of self confidence.

Better Lifestyles sets itself apart from “traditional” group homes not by providing different services but by providing BETTER

service, soaring above customary standards of living!
